Caboolture on a Sunday is something special. Their Sunday Markets host over 500 stalls and is the perfect place to explore, get to know the locals, and shop! These stalls stock everything from farm fresh eggs, produce, clothing, machinery, collectables, handmade crafts, bric-a-brac and plants. It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning!

Caboolture is a town known for its history! In fact, it has a world-class history museum, The Abbey Museum of Art and Archeology. This museum is your gateway to an ancient world, holding over 4,000 historical objects from the most incredible eras in modern, medieval, and ancient history. You can learn all about the Roman Empire, Ancient Egypt, and Europe from medieval times to the Renaissance and beyond! There is also the Caboolture Historical Village - with interactive displays, daily steam train rides, beautiful gardens, 70 plus buildings to explore and 110,000 objects to view, it’s a day full of learning and exploration. 

If it’s a nice day out, head to the lakes for a picnic! Caboolture’s Centenary Lakes is beautifully lined with trees, bridges, and pathways - pack up some delicious food and spend some arvo hours relaxing in this local gem.
