Ready to return your vehicle?
Follow our quick tips to help make your return a breeze:
1 – Check for damages
If you find a new apparent defect or condition different to what is noted on your Rental Agreement and/or Vehicle Condition Report supplied, inform the Thrifty employee for a joint examination to ensure vehicle records can be updated.
2 – Fill up the tank
If you haven’t purchased prepaid fuel, please return the vehicle with a full petrol tank. You can find the cheapest petrol prices near you via the mynrma app.
3 – Take your belongings with you
Please remember to take your belongings with you. We take pride in our fleet and strive to ensure any car or truck rental you pick up is clean and tidy. We ask you to help us by returning your vehicle in a similarly tidy state.
4 – Know where to go
And of course, it’d help to know where you need to return your vehicle! If you need to double check the details of your Thrifty location, find your Thrifty location for address and contact details, handy directions and opening hours.
Returning out of hours?
No problems. Some locations have a preferred location when returning your vehicle outside of normal operating hours. Please contact the location directly as specified on your rental agreement to discuss after-hours return. Please note, vehicles returned after-hours remain the responsibility of the renter until the vehicle can be inspected by a Thrifty representative.
