Fat Cat's thinking Thrifty
13 May 2013
Channel 7 Telethon's Francis Aloysius Thomas Cat, better known as Fat Cat, recently visited his good friends at Thrifty WA's Osborne Park Branch where he did some serious 'thinking' about how Thrifty WA will achieve their 2013 Telethon target.
And after finding out what happens every time someone rents a vehicle from any one of the 17 Thrifty locations throughout the State, Fat Cat took matters into his own paws.
"We really appreciated Fat Cat coming down to our Osborne Park Branch to let everyone know that when they rent any Thrifty vehicle right now they are making a donation to this year's Telethon Target of $100,000," says, Thrifty WA marketing executive, Alisia Mumby.
"But we were rather surprised when he stepped behind the counter and began serving our customers." she says, "A clear example of Thrifty Thinking."
"Thrifty has been a huge supporter of Telethon for many years now. Fat Cat wanted to show his appreciation to the lovely Thrifty staff by helping them with vacuuming cars and serving customers," says, Telethon's General Manager, Steve Mummery.
