Thrifty shows support for Launceston region
19 July 2013
Thrifty Car Rental is signalling its commitment to the Launceston region with the official opening of its Launceston Airport Service Centre.
The business, which operates in over 210 locations across Australia and New Zealand, has invested in a brand new 4000 sq metre wash bay facility that will offer a faster and more efficient service for customers.
Thrifty Chief Operations Officer Kayleen Collins said the investment is testament to Thrifty's long-term commitment to the area.
"The Service Centre is our newest facility in Australia and we're excited to be able to contribute to the growth and prosperity of the region," Ms Collins said.
"Thrifty is the only 100% Australian owned major car rental company, so it's important that our facilities are modern, professional and safe – for both our staff and customers – and add real value to local communities, such as Launceston," she said.
The Thrifty Launceston Airport Service Centre officially opened with an event on Thursday 4th July for staff, customers, suppliers and business stakeholders.
