To make a booking online enter in your Government employee number and Blue Chip number, as your Blue Chip profile stores your Corporate discount number and payment details. Alternatively enter your Corporate Discount Number, in the 'I have a Corporate Discount Number' field'.
All payments for corporate car rentals under the whole-of-government arrangements will be made through your Diners Club account. At the time the vehicle is returned, Thrifty will calculate the total rental charge (including fuel) and charge the Agency card.
It is mandatory that the employees of the Department of Human Services enter an employee number (AGS number) when making a booking. Please follow the steps below:
- If you are a Blue Chip Member; Please click 'I am a Blue Chip Member' and enter your number and last name in the fields provided. Your Blue Chip profile stores your CD number, payment details and employee number (AGS number), so you're all set.
- If you are not a Blue Chip Member; Please see 'I am a Government Employee' and enter your employee number (AGS Number) in the field provided on the first step of booking.

Blue Chip Express Rental Program

All Australian Government travellers will be required to become Blue Chip Members to allow the rental to be charged back to your Diners account.
Personal Preference Profile
Blue Chip allows you to create a personal preference profile containing most of the details we need to make a booking, so you receive exactly what you want with minimum fuss.
Your corporate rates and conditions will be attached to your member profile.

Express Pickup Service
'Arrive & Drive' is a service for Blue Chip members currently located at Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne Domestic Airports. The Blue Chip member is no longer required to go to the Thrifty counter. A plasma screen directs them to their pre-allocated ready to drive vehicle. The Blue Chip member will find the keys in the ignition and the pre-printed rental agreement. All the driver is required to do is drive to the Thrifty boom gate where they are greeted by a Thrifty Concierge who will check the drivers licence and quickly release the vehicle. 'Arrive & Drive' will be rolled out at all major domestic airports.
Blue Chip express rental lanes are also located at selected service counters and airports. The renter simply needs to present their Blue Chip card and drivers licence and they are on their way!
