One of Australia’s well-known brands is teaming with NSW Rugby in a new deal announced today.

Thrifty Australia will be the official platinum partner and official rental car hire company of NSW Rugby and the NSW Waratahs until 2021. The new partnership means that Thrifty’s logo will appear on the front of the NSW Waratahs playing shorts for the next three years.

NSW Rugby CEO Andrew Hore said to have such a well-known name in the industry associated with the organisation was a coup.

“Thrifty prides itself on excellent service and as an organisation, we are also driven to provide the best service and support to our rugby community,” Hore said.

“The deal is a strong reminder that commercial partners value the role rugby plays in our communities and the social benefits and overall wellbeing it offers our participants. We are delighted to have Thrifty as part of our rugby family,” he added.

Thrifty Australia’s Acting CEO Stephen Short said the partnership was a reflection of Thrifty’s commitment to keeping the community moving.
