Thrifty WA Introduces Automatic 3-Door Hyundai Getz

Thrifty WA today announced the introduction of automatic 3-door Hyundai Getz to its fleet.

Thrifty has made automatic transmission available in the economy class category, the first of the five major hire car organisations to do so in Western Australia.

The 3 door 1.6 litre Getz SX features 4-speed automatic transmission, power steering and keyless entry. The Getz also leads the way with world-class safety features, including front air bags, anti-skid braking system (ABS), electronic breakforce distribution (EBD) and 4 wheel disc brakes as standard.

Thrifty WA Fleet Development Manager, David Hendry said offering economy class vehicles with automatic transmission set Thrifty apart from the other major car hire competitors in Western Australia.

"By offering automatic economy class vehicles, Thrifty provides customers with greater flexibility when choosing a vehicle to hire. If you only hold an automatic licence, you have the option to hire an economy class car.

And where safety is a prime consideration, Hyundai certainly delivers," Mr Hendry said.

Thrifty WA is a long-time user of Hyundai passenger cars. With a fleet of over 2500 vehicles, the new purchase of 25 Hyundai Getz SX automatics, complements the wide range of cars, trucks, buses, utes and 4WDs that Thrifty WA offers for rental.
