Q. How long will it take to receive my Blue Chip membership details?
A. You'll receive your Blue Chip Membership Number via email within 48 hours of submitting your application. Your Blue Chip Membership Card will arrive within 2 weeks.
Q. Can I make an urgent Blue Chip booking before I've received my Blue Chip Membership Number?
A. Yes. Simply make the booking via the website or through our Reservations Department and once you have received your booking confirmation email
bluechip@thrifty.com.au so we can add your Blue Chip details to your booking.
Q. What do I need to collect a Thrifty hire vehicle?
A. Your Blue Chip Membership card and your Drivers Licence.
Q. I still haven't received my Blue Chip Membership Card but I have a car rental taking place.
A. No drama. Collect your hire car, advise our counter staff that you're a new member waiting on your membership card, and they'll extend our famous Preferred Member service to you!
Q. I want to make a car hire booking for overseas but my Blue Chip Number doesn't seem to work?
A. For security reasons, your Blue Chip details are not recognised internationally. But don't despair - international rental car reservations can be made by visiting our worldly cousins at
www.thrifty.com.

www.thrifty.co.nz . To ensure you receive the Blue Chip Member rates simply enter BLUE into the Promotion Code Field. Please do not enter your Blue Chip number on this website. Upon arrival, present your Blue Chip Membership card, Drivers License and credit card to the Rental Sales Officer.
Q. Can I add a partner/colleague to my Blue Chip profile?
A. Unfortunately not. Blue Chip membership is an individual membership that can only be used by the person whose name appears on the card. This is because your Blue Chip profile contains specific and personal information such as Drivers' License details and Date of Birth. Partners or colleagues can be added to the car rental contract upon collection or establish their own Blue Chip membership.
Q. It is asking me for a password when I attempt to log in, but I can't recall my password.
A. Australian Blue Chip Members don't need a password to log in. Just ensure that you're on the Australian website
www.thrifty.com.au where your only requirement to log in is your Blue Chip Membership Number and Surname.
Q. What rewards programs are available through Thrifty?
A. You can earn points through our various Rewards Program Partners including Velocity Frequent Flyer, and Myer One Rewards. Q. My details have changed that are stored in my Blue Chip profile. How can I update my details?
A. Visit the Update your profile on the Blue Chip menu. You will be prompted to enter your Blue Chip number and surname. From here you are able to amend your details such as your address, drivers licence expiry, email address, billing details and rental preferences.
Q. I have recently had a car rental and require a tax invoice. How can I obtain this?
A. You can now obtain your tax invoice on our website by clicking
here.
You should allow up to 14 days after the rental vehicle has been returned before attempting to retrieve your tax invoice.
There are some locations in WA and VIC where tax invoices are not available online. You should contact the location you rented from directly to obtain a tax invoice.
Q. I have feedback about the service I received during my last rental. Who do I need to speak to about this?
A. If you would like to provide your feedback the best way to provide this is to visit the Contact Us section of the website and complete the Feedback form. Our Customer Service team will then be in touch to address your comments.
Q. I have lost my Blue Chip card. Can you please send me a new one?
A. The simplest way to order a replacement card is to visit the Blue Chip section of our website and select the Update your profile menu option. At the top of the page select the tick box next to New Card Required and then click the Amend button. You will receive a replacement card within 2 weeks.
