DAY 1: PERTH - KALBARRI
Head north hugging the Indian Ocean coast line via Yanchep National Park, experience the mystique of the Pinnacles Desert & Nambung National Park, visit Waddi Emu and Wildflower Farm. The awesome Australian beauty of the Kalbarri National Park and its gorges are waiting to be explored.

Day 2: KALBARRI - SHARK BAY - MONKEY MIA
Explore Kalbarri coastal cliffs and the Murchison River's red gorges, perhaps visit the tropical and exotic parrot habitat, and look around the town. Arrive at Shark Bay with time to see the unique Shell Beach and stromatolites. The Shark Bay Marine Park offers many diving and snorkelling sites. The most renowned sites are at Monkey Rock and the wreck of the Gudrun, rated by the Western Australian Maritime Museum as one of the State's best wreck dives.

Day 3: MONKEY MIA
Spend the morning greeting the families of wild, but friendly bottle nose dolphins at Monkey Mia. Francois Peron National Park is well worth the 4WD adventure. You need a four-wheel-drive to visit Peron's scenic coastline with dramatic contrasts of red cliffs, blue water and white beaches. From the cliffs of Cape Peron visitors may see bottlenose dolphins playing, dugongs feeding, green and loggerhead turtles surfacing for air and large manta rays gliding past just beneath the surface. Visit a Pearl Farm or take a sunset cruise.

Day 4: SHARK BAY - GERALDTON
A last goodbye to the dolphins and Monkey Mia and then head back down along the Batavia Coast to the rock lobster fishing town of Geraldton. Take a river cruise or dine in one of the local restaurants.

Day 5: GERALDTON - PERTH
Visit Greenough Wildlife & Bird Park, Southern Cross Emu Farm and other towns en route to Perth. Explore Badgingarra National Park. Visit the historic old town of New Norcia and then back to Perth to meet your flight. |
