Day 1: PERTH - MARGARET RIVER (279 KMS - 3 HOURS)
Arrive in Perth and collect your car from the Thrifty airport desk or location office. Spend the morning discovering Perth. You can also take in the sights, sounds and smells of Northbridge which is one of the most colourful areas of central Perth featuring pavement cafes, superb restaurants markets and food halls.
Leave Perth just after midday and begin your journey south to Margaret River. Follow your map and the signs through Bunbury and Busselton leading you through the wine growing region to Margaret River Township arriving late afternoon.

Day 2: MARGARET RIVER - BUNBURY (104 KMS - 1 HOUR)
Spend the morning discovering the heart of wine country. You can follow your palate to dozens of boutique wineries producing wines of national and international repute around Busselton, Margaret River and Yelling. At Prevelly, you can also join local surfers then browse local art and craft galleries, explore limestone caves, sample local gourmet produce and feast your eyes on idyllic coastal scenery and majestic karri forests. After lunch, head north to the port city of Bunbury which offers the best of both worlds - city convenience and a relaxed holiday atmosphere.

Day 3: BUNBURY - PERTH (180 KMS - 2 HOURS)
Enjoy a morning at the Dolphin Discovery Centre, and enjoy the natural interaction of the playful dolphins of Koombana Bay. Enjoy lunch on Sunbury's cappuccino strip and discover the many colourful shops before returning to Perth. |
